  • Mitacs Accelerate award for RapidBOM (2026) — a new industry-partnered project on multimodal document AI and privacy-preserving knowledge graphs.
  • CASCON 2026 — paper accepted. Our paper, Beyond Agent Logs: Cross-Layer Execution Evidence for Auditing Coding Agents, by Haitham Al Satai, Naser Ezzati-Jivan, and Foutse Khomh, has been accepted for the CASCON 2026 technical-paper program. It examines cross-layer execution evidence for auditing coding-agent behavior.
  • ACM FSE 2026 — agentic-AI governance briefing. Taming the Stochastic Machine: Observability and Runtime Governance for Agentic AI Systems, co-presented with Maryam Ekhlasi. The official program lists this as a 90-minute technical briefing on observability and runtime governance for agentic AI systems.
  • DTraComp — Journal of Systems and Software. DTraComp: Comparing distributed execution traces for understanding intermittent latency sources presents an open-source framework for comparing distributed execution traces and connecting request-level latency to thread-level kernel evidence.
  • LMAT — Journal of Systems and Software. LMAT: An adaptive tracing approach based on efficient system behavior analysis using language models introduces adaptive tracing that uses language models to tune tracing granularity from observed system behavior.
  • CARE — IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering. CARE: Context Aware Root Cause Identification Using Distributed Traces and Profiling Metrics, by Mahsa Panahandeh, Naser Ezzati-Jivan, Abdelwahab Hamou-Lhadj, and James Miller, integrates distributed traces, profiling metrics, and network analysis for context-aware root-cause identification. The paper was also featured in the ACM FSE 2026 Journal-First program.
